Thank you for hanging out with us, as we share about the beauty and simplicity of a Charlotte Mason education.
We’ve now reached the halfway point of this 20 day series, and so far we’ve learned a little history about Miss Mason, helpful techniques for an eclectic homeschool, how the classical method and Charlotte Mason can be combined, ideas for spending time out-of-doors in the city, three steps to help you ease into a CM lifestyle, what it means to teach the whole child, Charlotte Mason in the early years, and the importance of habit training.
Some of the contributors thus far have offered free downloads for you.
Leah from Growing in Grace has Charlotte Mason-inspired homeschool planner for her email subscribers.
Tiffany from Outmatched Mama has a two week Bible Study for busy moms.
Sara from The Homeschool Post created a printable to help keep your home accountable to creating new habits.
Nature study has been our favorite part of living a Charlotte Mason lifestyle. For the past 3 years, we’ve made it a goal to leave the house, and the books, and the everything behind every Friday morning.
When we first begun, I was worried my high school and middle school girls would not enjoy nature walks and nature journaling as much as my elementary school girls, but I was wrong. With nature study bag and lunch cooler in tow, we’ve discovered beautiful places in our city.
So, to encourage you to get out-of-doors our first giveaway consists of some of our favorite nature study items:
- Canson Mix Media Pad
- The Curious Nature Guide
- Carson MicroBrite Pocket Microscope
- Watercolor Paint Set
